Patholi is a unique sweet dish. A rice paste is made and spread on the turmeric leaf. It is then layered with coconut - jaggery mixture. The leaf is carefully folded and steamed. Once steamed, the leaves are discarded and Patholi is served with ghee. The leaves imparts a unique flavor to the dish which makes it even more tastier. If you can't find turmeric leaves then this can be made on banana leaves. I hope you enjoy making it as much as we did. Please leave me a comment if you have any questions.
