Ponsa Patholi is a Konkani delicacy. The jackfruit flavored rice batter is spread on a banana leaf and then stuffed with jaggery sweetened coconut. Ingredients:
Sonamasuri rice - 1 cup
Jackfruit pods (chopped) - 1 1/2 cups
Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt - To taste
Banana leaves - For steaming
For Stuffing -
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Cardamom pods - 4
Water - 1 1/2 Tbsp
